I plan to graduate in June of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science (4-year BS/MS) in chemical engineering along with taking the FE in June 2014. I am seeking a position that will take advantage of my research and work experience. Currently, I am conducting computational research to examine the validity of porous graphene as a molecular sieve for applications such as carbon sequestration.
Four summers of internships at NASA have taught me invaluable research, laboratory, project management, and interpersonal skills will allow me to make a contribution to the success of a future employer. My interests include project management, pharmaceuticals, aeronautics & defense, space, and chemical industry. One of my passions is to solve new frontier problems that will result in tangible solutions. Another one is using an engineering approach to help solve some of the world's most pressing crises: healthcare, housing, and water access.
Outside of class, I enjoy camping, swing dancing, playing soccer, and renovating/building houses with the local Habitat for Humanity chapter. I also serve as the AIChE Co-President and ChemE Car Project Manager.
