Ben Goodman is a in chemical engineering class of 2016 and is a member of the honors societies Tau Beta Pi and Omega Chi Epsilon. He co-oped for Thermosafe, a brand of Sonoco Protective Solutions, during winter and spring of his sophomore year, and then he interned with Proctor and Gamble FemCare, to which he'll return this summer. On campus, he has been highly involved with Engineers for a Sustainable World, serving as Alumni Chair, Fellowship Facilitator, Co-President, and now Finance Chair. Since returning to campus, Ben has started tutoring student athletes through the N'CAT program and pursuing a concurrent MS in chemical engineering, which he will also finish in 2016. Ben attributes most of the drive behind his accomplishments to the unusual path that lead him to McCormick. He was fortunate enough to work as an actor and dancer after high school but eventually wanted to transition into a second career that was directly related to sustainability.
