My name is Wenhe, a Graduate student in Northwestern University. My research is focusing on the optimization of chemical supply chain. One of the major approaches for solving SCM (supply chain management) problems is to utilize the computer simulation experiments to validate, characterize and optimize.

Process optimization is an interesting field of science that exploits the math we have been struggling with. I'm so glad to write a succinct review of some interesting numerical optimization methods that will help us to reach the optimal solution of mathematical programming.
